Access to Salaris is managed through SocialSchedules. There is no separate permission structure within Salaris.
Your UserID and Password for Salaris is the same as SocialSchedules. You can log in to Salaris Payroll using the same credentials you use for SocialSchedules.
Accessing Salaris
Only users set as Administrator in SocialSchedules can access Salaris.
Administrators have full access to the company account, in both SocialSchedules and Salaris Payroll. This includes:
Access to billing and invoices
Reviewing and editing payrolls
Submitting payrolls
Viewing employee salaries and position rates
Only users that are highly trusted should be given Administrator access.
There is not a separate role for third-party access to Salaris. To provide access to Salaris for a third-party (i.e. an accountant), please set them up with the Administrator role within SocialSchedules.
Accessing Salaris Payroll from SocialSchedules
If your SocialSchedules account includes Salaris Payroll, you can quickly access your Payroll account directly from within SocialSchedules.
Log in to your SocialSchedules account.
Click the menu icon in the upper-left corner of the screen.
If Payroll has been enabled for your account, you'll see a Launch Payroll option in the menu.
Click Launch Payroll.
Note: Single Sign-On (SSO) between SocialSchedules and Salaris Payroll is not currently implemented. However, if you're already logged in to Salaris Payroll in another browser tab, clicking Launch Payroll will automatically take you directly into Salaris Payroll without requiring you to log in again.
Assigning Administrator Access
To assign a user the Administrator role, navigate to Network > Worker Profile > Access & Permissions within SocialSchedules.
Once you have navigated to the Access & Permissions tab for a selected user, set their access level to Administrator.
There are three access levels in SocialSchedules:
Employee
Employees do not have access to Salaris Payroll
Manager
Managers do not have access to Salaris Payroll
Administrator
Only users with the Administrator role can access Salaris.
Employee access
Employees and other non-admin users access their payroll details via the SocialSchedules mobile app where they can see:
Paystubs
Tax documents
Update their personal details, bank account and withholding
Employees use the same SocialSchedules log-in to access Payroll related items on the SocialSchedules mobile app.
Employees cannot log in to the desktop version of Salaris.
Troubleshooting Access to Salaris Payroll
If a user is unable to log-in using their admin credentials, please check that the user has a status of Connected in SocialSchedules. A status of Invited means they have been invited to use SocialSchedules / Salaris but have not yet activated their account.
