You can use Salaris Payroll if your business meets specific eligibility requirements. These depend on your business location, account setup in SocialSchedules, and payroll configuration.

To use Salaris Payroll, your business must meet the following criteria:

Location

  • Your business must be physically located and operate within the United States.

  • Businesses located in U.S. territories (e.g., U.S. Virgin Islands) are not currently eligible.

Employer Identification Number (EIN)

  • Salaris supports only one EIN per account. If you have multiple business entities operating under separate EINs, you will need separate Salaris accounts to use Salaris Payroll.

Payroll Bank Account

  • You must use a single bank account for all employee payments. This applies to multi-location accounts, which must use the same payment account for payroll across all locations.

Timecards in SocialSchedules

  • Employee timecards must be managed in SocialSchedules, as this is what flows through to Salaris.

  • This requires employees to be created in SocialSchedules, with assigned positions and position rates.

Subscription plan

  • You must be subscribed to a paid (premium) SocialSchedules plan in order to enroll in and use Salaris Payroll.

Consistent pay cadence

  • All workers must be paid at the same cadence (e.g., weekly, bi-weekly). Salaris does not support paying different employees on different schedules.

At this time, Salaris Payroll does not support money transfers for IRA / 401K / Workers’ Compensation.

Workers’ Compensation: Salaris Payroll does not handle workers’ compensation deductions or payments. However, payroll journals and summaries can be used to manually process workers’ compensation with your provider.

401k: Salaris Payroll can deduct 401k contributions from employee paychecks and calculate employer matching contributions. However, payments must be manually remitted to your 401k provider.

IRA: Salaris Payroll does not handle IRA deductions or payments.
