When employees are first created in Salaris, they are set to hourly by default. Hourly rates and positions are managed in SocialSchedules. Payroll admins can update the wage type to annual salary if needed.

Edit wage type

Go to Employees and select the employee.

Click Wages > Change pay.

In the Employee wages window, select the Wage Type:

  • Hourly worker – Managed in SocialSchedules.

  • Annual salary – Enter the salary amount directly in Salaris.

Enter the Effective date for the change, then click Save to apply the update.
