Sometimes you may need to remove a payroll run that is no longer needed. Salaris Payroll offers two ways to do this depending on the type of payroll: archiving for scheduled payrolls, and deleting for off-cycle payrolls.
Archiving a Scheduled Payroll
Archiving is available for scheduled payrolls with a status of Draft. It permanently removes the payroll run from your active pay runs.
How to archive a payroll
Open the pay run you want to archive.
Click the three-dot menu (⋮) in the top right corner of the pay run.
Select Archive payroll from the dropdown.
A confirmation dialog will appear, asking you to confirm the action.
Click Yes, archive to proceed, or Cancel to go back.
Important
⚠️ This action cannot be undone. Once a payroll is archived, it cannot be restored by the end user. If you have archived a payroll by mistake, please contact Salaris Support for assistance.
Deleting an Off-Cycle Payroll
Off-cycle payrolls can be deleted when they have a status of Draft.
How to delete an off-cycle payroll
Open the off-cycle pay run you want to delete.
Click the three-dot menu (⋮) in the top right corner of the pay run.
Select Delete payroll from the dropdown.
Confirm the action when prompted.
Important
⚠️ This action cannot be undone. Please make sure you no longer need the payroll before deleting it. If you need help, contact Salaris Support.
