How employees can opt in to paperless tax statements (W-2s)

Learn how employees can choose to receive W-2s electronically instead of by mail.

During onboarding, employees can choose to receive their W-2s electronically.

This option is available in the onboarding component, accessed through the link or the Salaris app.

Checking the box besides, I wish to receive paperless W-2 statements and related tax information from my employer (the "company") will elect the employee into receiving electronic W-2s.

If the employee does not select this option, a paper copy will be mailed to their registered address. This comes at a nominal fee to the employer.

Employers cannot set this preference on behalf of employees.
