How to view payroll history in Salaris

Admins can review all completed payrolls and access detailed records from the Payroll history tab.

Payroll history provides a centralized view of every payroll run, making it easy to confirm pay details, download reports, and access supporting documents for both employees and contractors.

Viewing payroll history

Go to Payroll in the left navigation and select Payroll history. The list displays each payroll’s pay period, type (Regular or Off-cycle), approval date, payday, and total net paid.

Available actions

From each payroll row in the history list, you can:

Description

Download payroll journal

Exports a detailed record of all contractor and employee payments, deductions, reimbursements, and wage types for the payroll run

Download pay summary

Exports a high-level summary of gross pay, net pay, taxes, and deductions

Download paystubs

Exports all paystubs for employees in the payroll run

View payroll

Opens the payroll record in Salaris, showing breakdowns by contractor and employee, including payment method, gross pay, and net pay

Why it matters

Payroll history provides a single location to access past payrolls, confirm totals, and download supporting documents for compliance and reporting.
